Behavior before Tools!

The goal is to be more efficient, how you do that is to ensure colleagues learn the right behaviors.

Learning correct behaviors and thought processes makes your ability to think at the next level, understanding “the why” and the true root cause.

Instilling those behaviors will make your processes better without actually changing anything.

Behaviors + tools used in the right way = process efficiency

You cannot throw tools at people and say to use them when they can’t understand why they are using the tool and what the root cause means.

The tools help you learn and gain experience from facilitating (A.K.A “prodding”) colleagues to help them understand the behaviors you want to see.

We should instill behavior changes over tool use!
